Budondo Women Development Association implements integrated, community-driven programs that empower women, protect vulnerable children, and foster sustainable development in Budondo Sub-County, Jinja District, Eastern Uganda. Our interventions are designed to address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and vulnerability while promoting resilience, dignity, and inclusive growth.

Women Socio-Economic Empowerment Program

 

The Women Socio-Economic Empowerment Program is dedicated to enhancing the skills, opportunities, and financial independence of women in our communities. Through training, access to resources, and mentorship, we enable women to start businesses, improve livelihoods, and take on leadership roles.

 

Orphans and Vulnerable Children support 

 

Our Orphans and Vulnerable Children Support Program provides care, protection, and opportunities for children who face hardship and neglect. Through education, mentorship, and community support, we help these children build a brighter and more secure future.

 

Community Health & HIV/AIDS support 

 

Our Community Health & HIV/AIDS Program focuses on promoting health awareness, prevention, and treatment services for affected populations. Through education, testing, counseling, and community outreach, we empower individuals to make informed health decisions and live healthier lives.

 

Child Rights Protection & Advocacy  Program

 

Our Child Rights Protection and Advocacy Program works to ensure that every child grows up safe, protected, and empowered to reach their full potential. Through awareness campaigns, legal support, and community engagement, we advocate for children’s rights and fight against abuse, exploitation, and neglect.

 

Capacity Building & Leadership development Program

 

Our Capacity Building and Leadership Development Program empowers individuals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become effective leaders in their communities.
