Our Management Systems
Budondo Women Development Association (BUWODA) has established a strong management and governance framework that ensures transparency, accountability, and effective use of project resources. The organization operates under a Board of Directors that provides strategic oversight and approves key financial and operational decisions. Day-to-day management is handled by a qualified Secretariat led by an Executive Director, supported by a Finance and Administration Officer, Program Coordinators, and field volunteers.
BUWODA maintains a functional financial management system with clearly defined policies on procurement, budgeting, reporting, and internal controls. All financial transactions are documented, reviewed, and approved following a segregation of duties principle to prevent misuse of funds. The organization uses QuickBooks accounting software (or a manual ledger system if you prefer to specify) to track income and expenditures and prepares monthly financial reports that are reviewed by management and the Board.
Annual financial statements are externally audited, and the organization complies with all regulatory and donor reporting requirements. BUWODA also has established project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems to ensure efficient implementation, timely reporting, and accountability to beneficiaries and partners.
